‘I’m going to film some hedge trimming today’ doesn’t sound like an exciting prospect, but when it’s the National Trust’s iconic Glendurgan Maze it is very exciting. We used four different cameras, started at 7am and finished at 4pm we documented the hedge trimming and interviewed the head gardener, his assistant and a volunteer. The combination of their voices, the time-lapse, the drone footage and intimate hand-held camera work revealed the energy, passion and commitment that the staff and volunteers put into caring for this national treasure.
